Sharmels Dance Academy was established in 2001, our aim is to encourage and inspire our students to meet their individual goals in a friendly and relaxed environment, weather it’s a career in dance art or just to for fun. Parents want the best for their child and we strive to provide the best in all fields. A gentle approach develops not only a good dancer but a confident and well rounded student. We maintain class discipline, not with demands or harsh words but with a connection to the student.
At the end of the year we hold our Annual End of year performance, which are most enjoyable. Many parents comment on the high standard of dancing, organization, the flow and professionalism of the performance.
Sharmels Dance Academy offers qualified and experienced tuition in all areas of dance. Many students have entered the state competitions and exams receiving the most outstanding results. We are certain that you will find a positive environment at our Fully Equipped Air Conditioned Studio
As Principal teacher I have been dancing for a period of 46 years, my teaching experience has spanned over 30 years. I have undertaken exams through CSTD, which I have passed successfully and gained Theatrical Teaching Certificates and Teaching Diploma’s.
